‘the fact or state of living or having objective reality’ Features of the Buddha heads represent different meanings. It represents wisdom and Buddha's peaceful calmness. One feature the ushnisha, or the bump on the head, stands for knowledge and enlightenment. Then there is urna, between the eyes of the Buddha which symbolizes the vision, the long ears signify wealth during his life as a prince. There are more. They are seen as objects of great importance in Buddhism however they also have other kinds of significance in peoples life. The representations are often used for decoration in people’s surroundings as they radiate the feeling of peace, calm and harmony.
